GIVE TO TONY

Minneapolis is a mission field filled with immigrants in need of the gospel and gospel-centered community. Many face barriers that make connection difficult:

  • Language differences create distance between immigrant families and predominantly English-speaking churches.

  • Limited resources make it hard for churches to sustain long-term outreach.

  • Lack of mutual awareness means many immigrants have never heard of ministries that would welcome and serve them, while churches lack established relationships within immigrant communities.

As a result, churches may struggle to reach these neighbors effectively and help them feel at home within the body of Christ.

The Challenge

We believe that loving our immigrant neighbors means caring for the whole person—meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We strive to build bridges by pointing every relationship toward Christ and inviting them into genuine fellowship with the local church.

Through various ministry activities we build bridges across languages and cultures so immigrants can:

  • Hear the gospel clearly in their heart language.

  • Experience the love of Christ through compassionate service.

  • Find belonging in a church family that reflects the unity of God’s kingdom.

The Opportunity

Our Approach

Our ministry is deeply relational. Every conversation, meal, and class is an opportunity to point people toward Christ and invite them into discipleship.

All Nations ESL allows people to connect, grow in relationship, and learn English – creating opportunities for gospel conversations.

Friday night gatherings offer a time of fellowship and opportunity to share gospel hope.

Hispanic Ministry on Sundays provides teaching and worship in Spanish, nurturing spiritual growth and community.

By connecting families to additional ministries like Jericho Road Ministries, we care for the physical needs of our immigrant neighbors – offering crisis care, a food shelf, financial assistance and employment support.

Support My Ministry

My ministry with the immigrant community in Minneapolis is made possible through the partnership of those who share a vision for reaching the nations here at home. Your prayer and support help immigrants in Minneapolis encounter the gospel, receive compassionate care, and find belonging in the family of God. Together, we can see our city transformed by the love of Christ – one relationship at a time.

    About Tony Morales

OUTREACH INTERN, Bethlehem Baptist Church Hispanic Ministry

I have served in pastoral and outreach ministry for over a decade. For the past year, I’ve led outreach and mercy ministry among immigrants in Minneapolis, while also serving as a leader in Bethlehem’s Hispanic Ministry for more than three years. Before moving to Minnesota, I pastored for eight and a half years in Fort Collins, Colorado.

At fourteen years old, I experienced the saving grace of Christ, igniting a lifelong passion to delight more deeply in God and share the beauty of the gospel with clarity and joy – in both English and Spanish.

My wife, Briana, and I are parents to twin daughters, Isabella and Amara – and praying God would bless us with more! Briana has a heart to bring beauty into the world through music and motherhood, and the Lord has placed her at Hope Academy as a K–5 music teacher. Our twin daughters reflect God’s creativity in unique ways: Isabella has a heart for adventure, a delightful sense of humor, and a love for reading; while Amara finds joy in serving, flourishes in friendship, and dreams of teaching one day.

By God’s grace, I graduated from Cladic Seminary in 2013 and served as a pastor in Colorado before moving to Minneapolis in 2021. I completed my Bachelor of Theology in 2024 and am currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Bethlehem College and Seminary.
